RALEIGH – The N.C. Education Lottery reminds its players that a deadline to claim prizes for 16 instant scratch-off games is Wednesday, Aug. 28. In May, the NCEL officially announced the end of the 16 games.

The games are $200,000 a Year for Life, Loteria, Super Slots,Citrus Twist, Aces High, Super Lucky 7's, Amazing 8's, Cash to Go!, Money! Money! Money!, Red Hot Crossword, 24 Karat Gold, 7-11-21, Lucky Gems, Bah Humbucks, Greetings of Gold and Holiday Millions.

Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date.

Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight on Aug. 28. Claims of $600 to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claims centers before 5 p.m. on Aug. 28, while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters in Raleigh before 5 p.m. on that day. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.
