Streak of winning Powerball tickets beats the odds
A Powerball ticket sold at The Border Station in Moyock in Currituck County carries a $200,000 prize from Wednesday’s drawing, marking the sixth time since June when a person playing the N.C. Education lottery has beat the odds to win a big prize playing Powerball.

Powerball ticket worth $200,000 sold in Asheville
Powerball players from the Asheville area need to check their tickets. One ticket sold for Saturday’s drawing matched all five white balls but not the Power Ball and is worth $200,000.
